Quick Overview

The Blount County real state market seems to be holding pretty steady overall as we transition from late summer to fall. We are seeing some longer days on market for some homes, especially for the homes listed over 450,00- dollars, however, the homes under 400,000 dollars are still selling in near record lows for days on market.

Inventory is still historically low, although we are seeing a few more homes for sale, mostly helped by the slightly longer days on market for homes over 450,000 dollars as opposed to an increase in the amount of owners wanting to sell. Buyers do have more options currently for homes, and currently builders are still producing spec homes which is helping inventory a little bit as well.
