Quick Overview

The Blount County real estate market has continued to cool as we get deeper into winter. We are seeing slightly longer days on market than last month, and well over the average days on market from this time last year. Number of new listings, total number of active listings, pending properties, and closed properties have all decreased over the last 30 days, which is not uncommon for this month every year. Interestingly enough though, the average price for homes that DID sell increased, as has the average price of newly listed homes. Homes under $300,000 are still scarce and in huge demand, as are properties with some acreage.
